Grok Bot prompt pack for small IT, security and finance teams

Six ready-to-paste Grok Bot routine setups that watch your renewals, exploited vulnerabilities, software spend, vendors, certificates and billing inbox, and send you a short report. Free with a newsletter signup.

What it does for you

Each setup is a block of text you paste into Grok Bot once. It creates a routine that runs on a schedule, reads data you point it at, and sends you a report. None of them log into or change anything: they only read and report. You fill in a few blanks, such as your tool list or the link to your renewal sheet, and check the first run.

Two of the setups were tested before publishing by following them word for word against live public data: the CISA vulnerability feed and real certificate and domain records. Their sample outputs in the PDF are those real results, and the wording was tightened where the first run showed a gap.

What is inside

  • Contract renewal watch (60 days ahead). Warns you while there is still time to cancel, cut seats or renegotiate. Most software contracts renew automatically and need written notice 30 to 90 days before the renewal date.
  • Weekly CISA KEV digest, filtered to your tools. Tells you which newly listed actively exploited vulnerabilities touch the tools you actually run, and lists the rest in one line each so you can spot tools missing from your list.
  • Monthly SaaS spend and waste report. One page each month on what software cost, what changed and where money is likely wasted, built from your card or expense export.
  • Vendor security news watch. A short daily note when a vendor you depend on has a breach, outage or security advisory, with sources, so you hear it before the customer email does.
  • Certificate and domain expiry watch. Catches a TLS certificate or domain registration before it lapses and takes your site or email down.
  • Inbox triage: invoices, renewals and price changes. A daily list of money emails that need a decision: invoices, renewal notices, auto-renew reminders, price increases and failed payments, so none sit unread past a deadline.

Each setup has its purpose, the exact text to paste, a suggested schedule, the inputs you fill in and a sample output.

FAQ

Do I need Grok Bot?

The setups are written for Grok Bot routines. The steps are plain enough to adapt to another agent tool that can run on a schedule and read a file or a web page.

Does it need access to my systems?

Only to what you point it at: a sheet, an export, a mailbox label or public data. Every setup ends with a report-only rule, so the bot does not change, pay, reply to or delete anything. Do not give it passwords in chat.

Would you rather someone ran it for you?

The AI staff plan sets up and runs report-only agents like these for you, from $79 a month. For a one-off review of your renewal list, see the $199 Renewal Audit.
