Some questions do not need a project. They need someone to read the vendor page, the advisory or the contract clause you are looking at and tell you plainly what it means for you. That is what the Quick Answer is for. Typical questions: "Does this CISA KEV entry affect the version we run?", "Is this AI tool’s price per seat or per usage, and what will it cost us at 40 users?", "Our vendor says they are SOC 2 compliant; what should we actually ask for?", or "Which of these two password managers fits a 20-person firm?"
What’s included
- A written answer of up to about 600 words, in plain English.
- Sources linked for every factual claim: vendor documentation, government advisories, standards, pricing pages or news reports. Where a source is unclear or out of date, we say so.
- A short "what we would do next" list, if there is a useful next step.
- One follow-up question on the same topic, answered by email within 2 business days of when you send it.
What we need from you
- Your question, in a sentence or two.
- The context that changes the answer: company size, the tools or versions involved, your industry, and any deadline.
- Links or excerpts of anything you are reading (a vendor email, a contract clause, an advisory). Redact names if you prefer.
Turnaround
2 business days from when we have confirmed the question and payment is in. That includes one business day for Emilio’s review. If we need more context, the clock starts once you reply.
Scope
Included
- One question on IT, security, vendors, AI spend or software spend.
- Public sources plus whatever you send us.
- One follow-up on the same question.
Not included
- Legal, tax or medical answers. We will tell you if a question needs a lawyer or accountant instead.
- Logging into your systems, running scans or testing anything.
- Several unrelated questions bundled as one. Each one is a separate Quick Answer.
- Calls. Everything happens by email.
Who does the work
Emilio Santos does the work, with AI assistance. He uses general-purpose AI tools to help sort, draft and check, which means parts of what you send are processed by those tools. He reads every line of what you send and every line of the deliverable before it goes to you.
Your data
- Send files by email to circuits50capital@circuits.fit. They arrive and are stored in that mailbox.
- Please remove passwords, keys, account numbers, payment card numbers and protected health information before sending. We never ask for system access or credentials.
- Parts of your material are processed by AI tools as part of the work. Where a tool’s settings let us turn off the use of our inputs for model training, we turn it off, and we do not use your files to train models.
- We delete your files and our working copies within 30 days of delivery. Copies kept by email or AI providers under their own retention or backup schedules may last longer, and we do not control those.
- We do not sell or share your material except with the email and AI services used to receive and process it. See the privacy policy. If you would rather your material not be processed by AI tools, say so when you order and we will tell you whether we can do the work without them.
How to order
- Email circuits50capital@circuits.fit with the subject "Quick Answer" and a short description. You can attach files now or after we reply.
- We confirm the scope with you by email.
- Payment is arranged after the scope is confirmed. The turnaround starts once payment is in.
After the scope is confirmed by email, you’ll be sent a secure Stripe card payment link.
FAQ
What if my question is bigger than 600 words?
We will tell you before you pay. Some questions fit a fixed service on the services menu better, and some need a fixed quote. You only pay for the Quick Answer if we agree it fits.
What if you can’t answer it?
If we find we cannot give a useful, sourced answer, we tell you and refund the fee.
Can I ask about a specific vendor?
Yes. We answer from public information and what you send. We do not contact the vendor for you.
Is the answer confidential?
Yes. We do not publish your question or our answer. If a question would make a good general briefing, we would ask first and remove anything identifying.
